-====== HaSatan | Studying the adversary ======
-===== Introduction =====
-This introduction is written at the start of me trying to study out this topic, and I would just like to try and write down my thoughts and ideas about this subject.

-There is a lot of confusion around the devil, as a young child I was taught that the Devil was a angel named Lucifer that rebelled against God (with 1/3 of the angels). He more or less facilitates all evil in the world with his demons/fallen angels and will be judged at the great judgement.
-
-At the moment my understanding of this narrative is that this is a catholic doctrine which 'cherry picked' and combined multiple verses and combined them to form their own narrative. eisegesis //(A subjective method of interpretation by introducing one's own opinions into the original: opposed to exegesis.((https://www.wordnik.com/words/eisegesis)))// But of-course we will study this is great detail.
-
-Others, I believe mainly Judaism and I guess more 'modern' Christians, teach that there is not one adversary that rules the rest.
-
-Also I believe that like the Sadducees we see in Yeshua's time, modern rabbinical Judaism doesn't believe in what we call angels, the messengers of Yahweh. This is probably one of the biggest reasons they don't like Jubilees and 1 Enoch (regardless of the fact that the claims made in these books are true or false)
